Service Explanations: Mercedes has 2 different systems of factory services.

1. Services for 1995-2004, all models
For this range of vehicles Mercedes used an indicator of 1 wrench (A Service) or 2 wrenches (B Service) on the instrument cluster to denote which service your Mercedes is due for.

MB A ServiceA Services

Consist of an Oil and Filter service, chassis inspection and vehicle scan. This service is performed at every 10k miles.

MB A ServiceB Services

Include everything in the A Service plus an underbody inspection and air and cabin filters as required. This service is performed at every 20k miles.

2. Services for 2005-Up, all models
Mercedes introduced theĀ Flexible Service Schedule in 2005. At this point they started monitoring mileage to keep track of mileage based services and had sensors in the system to monitor oil condition. Vehicles with this system have a numbering system that will indicate what services your vehicle is due for.

With this system through the instrument cluster you can access what services the vehicle is due for and check service history to see what has been performed and when. Your owners manual will have instructions on how you can check which services are due. You can also schedule an appointment to have our technician’s check to see what services your vehicle is requiring.
